Dr. Kamkar has been a California licensed optometrist since 1986.
He is licensed to diagnose and treat a wide variety of eye conditions. Additionally, he is a member of the Flying Samaritans, serving the underprivileged population of Baja, Mexico, along with other health care volunteers.
He is an active member of the Southern California business and cultural community.

Dr. Kamkar is one of few optometrists with additional credentials as a Qualified Medical Evaluator (Q.M.E.) in the State of California. He is the inventor of APD Tester (TM), a patented pupil abnormality diagnostic device. In his practice in Glendale, he is able to deliver most prescription glasses in less than 30 minutes at very affordable rates.
